what is worth it?

Worth It. is an annual conference for girls 6th - 12th grade that seeks to empower young women to see their own true identity and worth while building confidence to support their fellow female.

what will my child learn?

Community Renewal and the Worth It. Committee are dedicated to offering sessions at this conference that deal with real issues teen girls are facing today in constructive ways, with breakouts led by diverse local women who are experts in their area through education and/or life experiences.

who organizes this event?

Worth It. is a program of Community Renewal of Pottawatomie County. The conference is put together by a diverse team of local volunteers (primarily women) who are passionate about ensuring all girls can thrive in Shawnee.

They are advised by the junior committee, made up of girls in the age group in other CRPC programs, along with We Care. campus staff, who work with teens in area schools each and every day.
